It may be a bit of a task, but it is important to know how to clean your brushes. Keep them in pristine condition with our cleaning gel and mat bundle; not only does this make it easier for you to get the results you expect from your brushes, but it also keeps brush hairs germ free!

Cleaning your brushes is a must we should all do on a regular basis unless you like spreading bacteria all over your face… You’d be surprised on the number of people who have used the same foundation brush for months, or even years, and have NEVER washed it!

If you have problem skin or acne, we recommend using the BBi cleaning gel and mat bundle. Deep clean your makeup brushes and sponges every few weeks and notice beautiful improvements to your skin.

Love this gel, cleans my brushes and sponge perfectly. Smells beautiful. Mat is really good quality and nice size

Look at our most recent feature in ‘Tatler’ magazine, read no.32 where they speak highly of BBi’s cleaning gel and mat bundle. At £15.95, you won’t want to miss out on this great price as well as an extra 30% of all products and bundles with our summer code:BBI30 at checkout.

The magical solution has been dermatologically tested and is alcohol-free, allergy free and eco-friendly - Meaning extending the life of your cherished products and is kind to your skin.

Want to do it the right way?

1. Apply the cleaner solution directly onto the brush and mat.

2. Gently wipe/scrub the brush onto the compact cleansing mat until it no longer distributes any makeup remnants.

3. Pointing downwards underneath a tap or bowl of water, rinse the mat and brush fully.

4. To dry, leave brushes on a clean dry towel overnight.

Clean, disinfect and condition brush fibres so that the brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high-quality brushes and sponges. The solution will leave your products smelling fresh and clean, shortening their drying time.

Whatever you do, be gentle! It may seem like vigorously washing your sponges will clean them better, or rubbing the bristles on a towel will get it dryer quicker - But the rougher you are, the more damage is caused to the delicate fibres.

Try not to get to much water and gel at the base of the bristles, this is because over time the glue holding them together may loosen. Bristles are either made of natural animal hairs or synthetic hairs, generally, makeup artists prefer natural hairs as they are easier and reliable.

Read our guide on buying the perfect makeup brush, learn how to use each one and what for - You will be a pro in no time.
